As winter approaches, I have started preparing the car for the colder weather and have replaced the track tyre wheels with normal road ones. Always a chore but needed when temperatures start to drop towards zero - not that I use the car much in winter weather! The cold is fine, but salt-ridden water or slush is not what the GT3 was made for. Our local council uses a low salt de-icer for the roads, but even that has a hint of the ‘rust fast’ ingredient. I will likely add a can of Porsche classic fuel additive to the cars in any case, although it is unlikely they will do more than a couple of hundred miles over winter.
