Brake caliper reconditioning
I recently sent my brake calipers away for reconditioning and used Lee from Classicar Automotive who advertise in this magazine. The turnaround time was quick - after about 10 days I had my calipers back and looking just like new. The calipers were fitted with new pistons and seals all round and fully pressure tested before being sent out with a 12-month guarantee. My rear  calipers are of cast iron and were exceedingly rusty; so I was amazed at how good they looked in their new zinc passivate coating, which was far superior to that originally applied.
