February 2024 has gone down as one of the wettest on record and that was very true for us on the South Coast as we set off on our first ‘drive and dine’ run of the year with 18 cars touring some of the best roads of Hampshire and West Sussex, much of it in the South Downs National Park. Thankfully, while the roads were completely awash in places, the sun was out and the braver amongst us even managed to get our roofs down for a while to admire the fantastic views and enjoy the sound of (as conditions allowed) a spirited drive after a photo stop up on the Downs near Goodwood Racecourse.
