Leaving a heatwave in southern England on 18 June, 16 cars arrived in Fishguard on a cool Sunday morning for the ferry to Rosslare; Four hours later, we disembarked and headed for our first stop in Waterford. We spent an enjoyable evening in the Fitzwilton Hotel bar and restaurant, with everyone getting to know each other and renewing old acquaintances.
