30 October Departure Lounge near Alton        
Having met up at Winchester in rain, a handful of cars headed east on the A31 for a spirited drive to this popular venue. The sun came out as we arrived, and we spent a pleasant morning chatting and enjoying coffee, bacon, and sausage sandwiches before heading home. Thanks to Mark Rye-Weller as usual for organising on our R17 WhatsApp group, and a mention too for Mervyn and Sheila Lister for bringing out their beautiful Guards Red air-cooled 911.
