Our PCGB friends in the IoW will host their R17 brethren from across the water as well as the 993 Register who will be completing the island section of the Baton Challenge in visiting the three RNLI stations - a perfect excuse to see the best of this spectacular coast.
We have provisionally booked 25 rooms at the Lakeside Park Hotel near Ryde. Please register your interest in joining us ASAP and then contact the hotel direct on 01983 882266 to reserve your room.
No deposit is required but payment will be taken from your card by 28 March. Anticipated costs are as follows:
Executive Double/Twin (sleeps 1 or 2) £185 (Lake View supplement +£15)
Rates are per room per night and include full English breakfast, use of spa facilities and car parking. As well as exploring the highlights of the island we will organise a dinner together at the hotel (probably Friday) at a cost of circa £30 per head.
Return car ferry crossing from Portsmouth or Southampton would be in the region of £85 per vehicle (awaiting 2024 rates to be announced with both Wightlink and Red Funnel). Car ferry reservations can be made via the hotel who will need the route and crossing time preferred as well as car reg number.
