Initially have a look at the museum’s comprehensive website to give you a flavour of what to expect. Some mays recall we visited the museum as a Region some years ago. The museum has however been developed significantly since then and we felt it was time for a return visit and a conducted tour.
If you would like to come along, please arrive between 10am and 11am and up to 15 cars will be parked in the reserved parking area. The tour will start at 11.30am and refreshments will be available from just before 11am.
The tour, with a specialist guide, takes approximately two hours and costs £20pp including your admission fee and refreshments. To book for the guided tour please click the link below.
Depending on numbers a second guide will be provided.
If you prefer a self guided tour you will be equally welcome, for the normal admission fee on the day, with no need to book in advance. We do however recommend the pre-booked guided tour in order to get the most from your visit.
Anyone taking the organised tour will of course be welcome to continue looking around after and there is a café on site for a spot of lunch and a general chat amongst members.
