This gathering will feature a talk by Mark Cole, a name that will be familiar to at least some of you with an interest in motorsport and endurance racing in particular.
Mark is a journalist and author who covered his 35th Le Mans 24 hours in 2017. His career includes being club editor of Autosport magazine, press officer at Thruxton and Silverstone circuits and the press attaché for the FIA World Sports Car Championship. For 25 years he has been a commentator on Eurosport TV.
He has many connections with Porsche and has written many books, including a definitive work on the Porsche 956. Latterly, and by way of a complete change, for 2019-2020 Mark was appointed Mayor of Buckingham, which coincidentally is where both he and I (Martin) live!
