At our forthcoming Club night (Little Hay Golf Complex, Bovingdon, HP3 0DT – 7pm) we are very fortunate to have racing driver Anthony Reid as our guest speaker.
As many of you will already be aware Anthony has had an incredibly varied career driving all manner of cars for just about anyone all over the world. It has extended way beyond his Le Mans success in a Porsche 962 and his time in touring cars including several seasons in BTCC. It was here that he developed a bit of a reputation for an abrasive driving style while competing against the likes of Cleland, Menu, Soper, Neal and Plato!
His career has been an inspirational object lesson in how to succeed at something if you want it badly enough. So come and join us for what I am sure will be an entertaining and fun evening for all, full of anecdotes and familiar names of those with whom he has rubbed shoulders and occasionally wheels for over forty years.
