Cars and Coffee meet

23 August 2020

In an effort to provide something ‘live’ to focus on we have obtained approval of a drive planned by Terry Perry from the Hemel Hempstead area to the Flight Deck Café at Turweston Aerodrome near Brackley. Scheduled for the morning of Sunday 23 August, the format will be a combined ‘follow the leader’ drive and a not quite traditional ‘Cars and Coffee’ meet that might extend to a late breakfast/brunch.

Participation will be limited to 10 cars, with up to two occupants in each, and booking is required. It is appreciated that this may not satisfy demand and there is the possibility of an exact repeat the following weekend, so don’t despair. Anyone not registered for the event will not be permitted to take part. Full details of the timings, route, start and finish locations will only be available to those who have registered, along with risk management protocols to be adhered to. Please book by email at r21@porscheclubgb.com. Please include names, car registration and a contact number. This information is required by the Club and by the café at Turweston.

Apologies if that all sounds a bit formal but it is very necessary for everyone’s wellbeing at the present time.

The Silverstone Experience
While you are in the area (near Silverstone that is) you may wish to consider a visit to the Silverstone Experience, which has recently re-opened. This would be independent of PCGB but comes highly recommended. For further information, click here.
