Sunday 16 July Charity car treasure hunt
This touring event is primarily a fundraiser for R1’s adopted charity for 2023, the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice. Secondly, it offers an appealing 120-mile tour of some of the most interesting roads in South Lanarkshire, Dumfries and Galloway and East Ayrshire.

The treasure hunt competition is not a race, but will test your awareness, observation and recognition skills by gathering clues and points at four specified locations along the route. You will benefit from having a passenger (or passengers), both as a navigator and second pair of eyes, although it can be completed solo. Prizes will be awarded for the first three highest points scorers.

The start point for registration and departures is the Dakota Hotel, Eurocentral, meeting from 10am. The finish point is the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.

Intrigued? Then sign up today. It will be a lot of fun and just a little different from a routine run out in your Porsche. The cost will be £20pp, all of which will go to the Hospice and includes your event entry, afternoon BBQ provided by the excellent Hospice café plus a donation to this worthy cause and wonderful facility. Please book and pay in advance HERE by Monday 3 July.
