June again has been a very busy month for R18 members. Ormskirk Motorfest on 28 May was very poor compared to previous years but still displayed an interesting rally 996. On Bank Holiday Monday a small group attended the Mawdesley Show. This is a very informal event at Mawdesley Cricket Club with about 90 cars taking part. As well as cars there are model aircraft flying displays and stalls. Judging of the cars is done by the organisers.
