PROVISIONAL ITINERARY
Friday 8th September
Afternoon : Travel up to Broomhall Castle arriving in the afternoon
4.40pm : Coach collection to take us to the Deanston Distillery (11 miles away). Upon arrival at the distillery we will have a 50 minute guided tour, sample of their whiskey and the opportunity to buy from the shop.
6.15pm : Return to the hotel
8.00pm : Sit down for our Evening Meal (pre order)

Saturday 9th September
9.00am : Full Scottish Breakfast in the castle
10.30am : Selection of routes for those that wish to explore including Loch Lomond, Luss & The Trossachs. Alternatively there is Stirling Castle & The Kelpies closer to our base.
8.00pm : Sit down for our Evening Meal (pre order)

Sunday 10th September
9.00am : Full Scottish Breakfast in the castle
10.30am : Check out of the hotel and head to the Falkirk Wheel visitor centre (15 miles away)
Afternoon : Head back home directly via the M74 (or if you prefer a more scenic route via the Pentland Hills and down either the A702 or the A7 through the Scottish Borders to the M6 at Carlisle (120 miles) then onwards down the M6.

£50 deposit required when booking to guarantee the reservation.
There are 16 rooms in the castle and all bookings are to be made with the castle directly. Rooms are booked on a first come basis. If as a Region we book all 16 rooms then we will have exclusive use of the hotel for the full weekend with no other guests present.
We will be sent a menu choice nearer the time to allow people to pre order their food for both nights.
