The main Region 18 event of the year “Porkers in the Trough”.
This event is now in its 6th year and in 2014 we had over 85 Porsches taking part from all over the country.
Cars assemble at Garstang Golf Club for coffee and bacon barms, before setting off in small groups at 9.30 for a scenic drive through the Trough of Bowland, to a lunch break at Townley Hall, Burnley. You can either take a picnic or get food at the venue. After lunch we take a more direct route back to Garstang Golf Club for prize giving and many members stay for a buffet meal. Due to the generosity of R18 members and our sponsors there is no entry fee for the event as all we ask is for a donation to Rosemere Cancer Foundation, based at Preston, where several of our members have had excellent treatment.
