Borders Run

  

Organised by R22 members Andy & Julie Beagle, our Borders Run is taking place on Sunday, 25 September.

The route we are taking is:

Meet at Gretna Gateway Outlet Village car park (DG16 5GG} at 9.00 AM Leave car park at roundabout turn left south on the B7076,
Head over the motorway onto the A6071 Longtown,
At T junction turn left onto the A7 Galashiels,
Follow A7 through Langholm,
Once in Hawick roundabout turn left A7 Galashiels,
Then at roundabout turn right A698 Jedburgh,
At roundabout turn left A698 Jedburgh,
Out of Hawick after Newton,
Turn off left for Born in Scotland Lanton Mill (TD8 6ST), refreshments and toilet break,keep to A7
Turn left back onto A698,
T junction turn left A68 Edingburgh,
Caution on A68 multiple fixed speed cameras 6 on left hand side 1 on right hand side watch your speed
At roundabout keep ahead for A68 Edinburgh,
Once in Lauder turn left at the Lauderdale hotel B6362 Stow,
In Stow T junction turn left A7 Galashiels,
Keep to the A7 over 3 roundabouts 4th roundabout Asda turn right A7 Hawick,
Roundabout straight on A7 Selkirk,
Roundabout keep left Selkirk,
Roundabout over A7 Selkirk,
Keep to A7 at large roundabout turn right A7 Selkirk,
Once in Selkirk turn right A708 Moffat, (you will see the clock tower after the junction),
Over river bridge rugby club on left, turn left A708 Moffat, Once in Moffat over 2 mini roundabouts,
Round the corner Black Bull Inn in front of you left turn A701 M74, Roundabout straight on A701 under motorway,
Roundabout 2nd exit Beattock,
Into Beattock The Old Stables (DG10 9QX), comes up on left hand side. Sunday lunch Menu available might need to pre book depending on numbers. Distance of route around 130 Miles.
