Member's Car of the Month

This month's car belongs to. Allison Cotes

They had this to say about the car -
This is a dark blue LHD 1987 911 3.2 Carrera, bought from Paul Stephens as Allison’s 50th birthday present to herself – an unknown number of years ago. The main difference to the UK models is the lack of “parcel shelf” – the Germans reckoned the car would stay on the road without extra downforce. This leads to the most annoying feature – that the front and rear tyres are different widths. For this reason it is not the “go to“ car for our more extreme long distance rallies. So it tends to be used in civilised settings – such as to Poland and more recently on trips to Italy and the Loire valley – and is Allison’s preferred shopping car. It’s done 260,000 kms, had an engine rebuild and numerous bodywork patches. Its usually dirty and furnished with dog fur but is reliable and great on those hills in the Alps
