Nick had this to say about his car -
The car was acquired in November 2016 from a private seller who I knew. Although in good condition, it needed some work done so I started with the cosmetics first; the front and back ends and bonnet were removed and completely rubbed down and re sprayed, the brake callipers were also removed and renovated and the headlights likewise (Norfolk Premier Coachworks did this and were superb). Next came the mechanicals in 2022 when Patrick and his team at William Hewitt Porsche replaced the IMS, clutch and exhaust, beefed-up the brakes and replaced some of the suspension; they also fitted Xenon lights and new coil packs and some radiator and cooling components.
The result is that the car is now much tighter and more precise to drive with better response and performance; it looks great too and is as close to perfect as I can get her!
My wife, Julie, and I have been to many PCGB events with her including ‘Porsches on the Prom’ in Llandudno and the Brands Hatch Festival of Porsche where we got to drive her around the circuit…7 years into her ownership and it still makes me smile to drive her and I guess you always remember your first Porsche!
