27 July The Car’s the Star
A welcome return to the Bird in Hand for our annual summer social with The Car’s the Star. A great turnout, with the pub almost running out of food! 

A member of the staff chose Jean Abbott’s pristine white Boxster as their favourite car and Jean was delighted to be presented with an engraved cut glass decanter to commemorate the evening and the 60th Anniversary of PCGB. A raffle raised £275, which was donated to the Transplant Department at Addenbrookes Hospital in memory of fellow member and friend Mike Colyer.
