911 RNLI Challenge

Supporting James & Belinda in 911 RNLI Challenge

We were contacted by Porsche Cambridge who asked us if we would be able to offer support on 24 August to two members from R23 (James and Belinda) who in their 911 were undertaking a fundraising tour of 238 RNLI Lifeboat Stations on an anti-clockwise drive around the whole of the British Isles and Ireland and would be passing through Norfolk and Suffolk that day. Called the “RNLI-911 Challenge 2018” their aim was to visit all 238 Stations within 911 hours, starting at 9.11am on 23 August from Teddington RNLI Lifeboat Station and finishing at RNLI Lifeboat Station London at 8.11am on 30 September. They hoped to raise £56,644 (£238 per RNLI Lifeboat Station). We met up with James and Belinda at Happisburgh Lifeboat Station at 11am, we then followed them to Cromer and Sheringham picking up two more Porsches on the Cromer to Sheringham Coast Road.
