We were pleased to welcome David Strachan as our guest this evening. David works for Bearings and Gears, a company that makes engine detergents. He gave us a technical discussion and demonstration about the merits of engine cleaning and what his products achieve. He had travelled down from Perth that day to spend the evening with us and we really appreciated that he was happy to spend several hours answering questions, giving advice etc until 11 p.m – he must have been exhausted!! Several cans of fuel additive were purchased to try out on our vehicles. For those of you who missed the meeting or had to leave before David’s demonstration, he has kindly agreed to write us an article covering his presentation, which contained valuable information which will help us all to better maintain our cars improving performance and fuel economy.
