Channel crossing is not included in the price of the trip to allow for flexibility should you wish to extend your stay. We recommend that you book the 09:20 LeShuttle crossing on Saturday 7th September to arrive in Calais at 10:55. We will then rendezvous at Total Energies Petrol Station to start our journey together.

Saturday 7th September
Calais to Troyes
La Forêt D'orient
After meeting in Calais, we will set off together to The Foret d'Orient The Domaine de la Forêt d'Orient Logis Hotel Restaurant Spa & Golf. The hotel is one of those unique and singular places that offer much more than accommodation to their guests. It enjoys a very privileged location in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional de la Forêt d’orient. Spend this first afternoon relaxing and maybe taking advantage of the superb indoor pool, luxuriating in the spa, or even taking a segway tour through the fantastic grounds. We will be staying here for the first two nights of the trip.
Sunday 8th September
A Day to Relax
This day is yours to enjoy as you wish. Join us for a tour of a Champagne house with a typical French lunch at a vineyard followed by a visit to the iconic former Formula 1 grandstand at Reims. Alternatively, explore the nearby city of Troyes, with its medieval old town featuring narrow, cobbled streets lined with colourful, half-timbered houses, mostly dating from the 16th century. Or stay and enjoy the hotel and its spa amenities.
Monday 9th September
Troyes to La Borde en Sologne
La Borde en Sologne - Château & Spa
Today we travel to a stunning Chateau, with extensive grounds surrounding this beautiful venue. It also features a historic courtyard, which is ripe for photo opportunities. Once again complete with Spa and situated approximately 40 minutes west of Tours. Dinner will be held in their beautiful tunnel which will be an unforgettable experience.
Tuesday 10th September
La Borde en Sologne to Le Grand Pavillon Chantilly

Just 45 minutes from Paris, you benefit from an exceptional setting in this Spa Hotel in Chantilly located 5 minutes from the Château de Chantilly and close to the medieval town of Senlis. Follow the path lined with century-old trees with the Nonette River not far away; and little by little you soak up the rural and wonderfully calm atmosphere of this venue. We will end the tour with a dinner at this superb venue to reflect on the experiences gained on the tour.
Wednesday 11th September
Le Grand Pavillon Chantilly to Calais
Today we will return to Calais, unless you have made your own arrangements to continue your stay in France.
Torque Events Limited
Steve and Benn from Torque Events Limited will be looking after us on the tour and will be hosting us as we travel. Both are Ex-Military and as such, have an eye for detail and planning but more importantly, they have been conducting driving events and tours for the past 14 years. They founded the Rally for Heroes event and now run its successor, A Driving Force for SSAFA, taking 50 cars on a 10-day tour whilst raising money for Military charities. They are very well qualified and experienced to ensure that we have the best possible experience. Having spoken to them on several occasions, they are both brimming with passion and enthusiasm for what they do whilst being very approachable.
Torque Events is fully insured as Tour Organisers giving us peace of mind both before and during the event. They will also:
- Carry out all the planning and preparation in advance of the Tour including liaison and communication with us as required.
- Provide a Welcome Pack and detailed Road book, which will also be a keepsake
- Loan us professional radios and charging stations for the event
- Provide Google Map routes to everyone via the setup WhatsApp groups as well as providing live updates should any changes be required
- Deal with Risk Management should any incidents arise
- Provide a roaming guide during the tour to ensure the entire group reaches its destination
- Provide a personal meet and greet concierge service so no queueing at reception
- Deal with management of all the Hotels, so we do not have to
- Organise all extra activities as chosen by us.
- Help create a team ethos through involvement and communication
- Provide a relaxing and positive atmosphere to enhance our enjoyment of the tour.
