We’re excited to announce details of our next Regional day out which is taking place on Saturday, 9 September in place of our regular monthly meeting. Split into three parts we’re hosting a friendly show and shine competition followed by a fun drive out to a secret destination and a casual get together while watching the F1 Qualifying at Monza.
Our day starts at friends of the Region, Dove House Motor Company, for our show and shine competition. All categories will be judged by their panel of experts, and with a selection of prizes, to be awarded to the winners.
Once the winners have been announced, we’ll start making our way to our secret destination via a carefully planned out route mapped by Mike and myself to take in some of the best roads the Region has to offer. This is a leisurely drive, with no competitive element, so please take your time. Don’t worry if you get lost, as there will be a sealed envelope with the venue name and postcode.
Upon arrival, the venue will have light refreshments available to purchase before watching the Monza F1 qualifying or enjoy socialising with your fellow R10 members.
Timings are as follows:
10:30 - 12:30 R10 Show & Shine and prize-giving at Dove House Motors, Rushden.
12:30 - 14:00 R10 Fun drive to our secret destination
14:00 onwards Social gathering and F1 qualifying
