Flat Lincolnshire?
When you talk to people around the country who have never visited Lincolnshire, the normal reply is “it’s very flat there”. Well, large parts are and with areas known as ‘South Holland’ it is obvious where that came from. Go north of the county and things are a bit different. The Wolds have some sharp escarpments where several Club members had some recent fun. Scamblesby Hill Climb, organised by Louth Rotary Club, sees a number of vintage vehicles racing against the clock to see who can make the best time. On a bright sunny day, members displayed their cars and some enjoyed a ‘quick’ run up the hill!
