Life after lockdown
This month’s report is primarily focusing on our first outing since the lockdown - the Ice Cream run to Appleby’s at Conisholme on the Lincolnshire east coast.

The event exceeded all expectation, with some 32 Porsche cars and a 1958 Porsche tractor! The weather was superb, which was very appropriate, being an ice cream venue, and good ice cream it was as well. Cars pulled in, initially in the odd ones and twos and, by 1pm, a continual procession of both classic and modern models arrived. Members were immediately introducing themselves to those who they hadn’t met before. It was then full speed into conversations discussing their current vehicles and those owned previously. Families who had initially just called for a tasty ice cream had an extra treat in store with our car/tractor display for them to view.
