Visit Newark (Notts & Lincs) Air Museum, Drove Lane, Newark NG24 2NY (open until 5pm) followed by 6.30pm Dinner at The Lord Nelson, Gainsborough Road, Winthorpe, Newark NG24 2NN
Prior to our 6.30pm dinner at The Lord Nelson, we are visiting the nearby Newark Air Museum in the afternoon.
Rowena has been in touch with the museum and we will be welcome to visit, but the staff would like some idea of number as over the weekend 15/16 April (50th anniversary)
the museum is open to the public and will have volunteers manning the exhibits which will thus be open (for a small charge...).
The museum is open until 5.00pm – we’ll let you know shortly what time we plan to rendezvous, via email to those coming.
The Lord Nelson is located in the heart of Winthorpe and offers nice food.
