You may have seen that we are proposing TOTYs (Tour of The Year) to visit the Classic Race Aarhus, in Denmark, in 2019, and to go the the Historic Grand Prix of Monaco in 2020. The events are at the beginning of May and end of May in their respective years.
We will once again be using our good friends Mark and Alison from European Driving Tours to organise these events on our behalf. They have organised a number of Tours for PCGB regions, including our previous Dambusters Tour, and our trip 2 years ago to the Champagne Region and Classic Le Mans.
We are meeting with Mark and Alison so they can put forward some ideas and discuss with us what sort of things we would like if possible on the these trips, so they can start to plan and put the itineraries together. They may seem a long way off, but believe me Mark and Alison need to be getting bookings for hotels etc in place very quickly.
The meeting is not just for those who have expressed an interest in the trips, or are considering them, but is open to any other members who wish to attend - who knows you may have some interesting ideas/thoughts even if you cannot go on the trips. If you have not been on one of our TOTYs this will give you an idea of what they are about and include.
The meeting is at Dunstan Village Hall, Chapel Lane, Dunstan, LN4 2ET in the Lamyman Room. Please arrive at 11am when we will have tea and coffee and maybe a biscuit or two.
We have booked the Red Lion in Dunstan again for their Sunday carvery lunch after the meeting at 1.15pm.
