We are pleased to confirm that we are once again invited to Props & Pistons at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, East Kirkby, the home of 'Just Jane' , the taxiing Lancaster.
This always a very popular event in our calendar, so do not delay booking if you are thinking of attending.
If you have not been before this event is a mix of planes and cars, with 'Just Jane' being the highlight. The proposed planes displaying are Hangar 11's P51 Mustang, the P47 Thunderbolt operated by Air Leasing, the BBMF Spitfire and the Beech 18 operated by Nick Houghton.
Last year there were 300 cars on display, our stand had over 30 Porsche's, and there are other stands to look around, as well the rest of the Heritage Museum and other attractions. The event is also well supported by the public.
Bush Tyres sponsor the event which raises money for the Bloodwise Charity (formerly Leukaemia Research). We pay an entry fee per car, which all goes to charity. In return Bush Tyres give us access to their hospitality marquee where there is usually excellent free food and drink during the day.
The cost this year is again £25.00 per car, which I think is great value as we will be supporting an important charity, as well having access to superb event with free hospitality.
Entry is by tickets and car pass, and you need to be on site by 9.30.
