We are offering a light hearted talk about some motor club motor sport type activities, including club racing, in the 1970's and 1980's. It will be given by me, Rod, on my experiences involving Autotests, regulatory trials, night road rallies, and circuit racing, including building and maintaining a Special Saloon Mini, at a time when calendars and circuits were full of events.
There's an optional Sunday lunch afterwards.
Talk will be at the Dunholme Old School Community Centre, 8 Market Rasen Rd, Dunholme, Lincoln LN2 3QR. Please arrive at 11 am for Tea/Coffee with talk starting at 11.30 for about an hour.
Optional lunch is just down the road at The Falconer, Welton Manor Golf Centre, Hackthorn Rd, Welton, Lincoln LN2 3PA at 1pm. We will need to prebook, Menu is HERE. Please let me know ASAP.
