The April Drive Out has been booked for the evening of Tuesday 12th April at The Kings Head, Navenby, Lincs, LN5 0EE, and is kindly being organised by Keith Helliwell
Navenby is a village on the A 607 Lincoln to Grantham road and coming from Lincoln, turn left at the first cross road on East Road, opposite the Fish and Chip shop. The rear car park for the pub is first on the right. Coming from Grantham, pass the pub on the High Street and turn right at the cross road.
Tuesday night is Pie Night at the pub and for £13.95 there is a choice of 4 Homemade shortcrust pastry pies together with a sweet in addition to their normal menu. The menus are available on the website www.thekingsheadnavenby.co.uk with details of the choice of three of the pies available on the lunchtime menu. There is also a Special Pie available on Pie Night (Keith had Steak and Stilton the other evening, which he says was excellent). This is in addition to the A La Carte menu.
Depending on numbers, a private room is also available, which is why Keith would appreciate names and menu choices sent to him by those wishing to attend on keith.helliwell@btinternet.com by Sunday 10th April.
Please aim to arrive between 6.30pm and 7.00 pm for sitting down to eat by 7.30pm. Those who are likely to be later than this, please advise Keith accordingly
