RNLI 911 Challenge

Belinda and James Richardson will attempt to drive to all 238 RNLI Lifeboat Stations throughout the British Isles and Ireland in 911 hours with the aim of raising £56,644 (£238 per stations) for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution via the JustGiving page; RNLI-911 Challenge.

The RNLI is a volunteer organisation established nearly 200 years ago to "save lives at sea". It costs £177m a year to run with £0.00 cost to the taxpayer, as all funds are donated.

The couple will be starting at Teddington RNLI Station at 9.11am 23rd August 2018 and, subject to not missing any of the 35 ferry trips and 6 flights (there are 3 stations that cannot be reached by car), they plan to finish at Tower RNLI Station 8.11am on 30th September 2018.

If all goes well, they plan to be at the RNLI station at St. Helier at 15.15hrs and at the St. Catherine RNLI station at 16.00hrs on Sunday 23rd September. They will also be visiting St. Peter Port, Guernsey at 17.40hrs on Monday 24th September and Alderney at 9.00hrs on Tuesday, 25th September.

Please spread the word and, if you are free on Sunday afternoon, please come down to the RNLI office at St. Helier harbour to lend your support to their completely madcap adventure. If there are enough of us, it would be great to provide a Jersey Porsche Club escort for them from the RNLI station in St. Helier harbour to St. Catherine's RNLI station.
