It is with great sadness we announce the passing of long-standing Porsche Club GB member and former Region 5 Regional Organiser Barry Dolton.
Throughout his 25 years of association with the Club, Barry was a dedicated Porsche enthusiast who gained satisfaction from his involvement as a member and especially during his five years as RO of Region 5 between 2007 and 2012, where he was assisted and supported by his wife Keri.
During this period Barry expanded the membership with regular meetings and events, and in particular two major shows at Arley Hall. His aim was to provide greater member benefits alongside raising funds to provide equipment and resources to further enhance the enjoyment of events.
Still an active member until recently, he put his heart and soul into the Club and will be greatly missed by the many close friends he made over the years. Our thoughts are with Keri and his family.
