Bicester Heritage set to become new home of PCGB

Board takes strategic ‘once in a generation opportunity’ to create a truly world class Club Headquarters and experience centre that will serve all members across the UK

Chair of Porsche Club Great Britain (PCGB), Mark Hamilton, has announced today (9 December 2021) that Bicester Heritage in Oxfordshire is set to become the new home of PCGB.

The strategic move will bring with it many benefits and allow the creation of a top-quality destination for members and meet the growing needs of the Club for years to come. The planned move will take place over the next 12 months.

The acquisition of a new building on the existing Bicester Heritage site will enable the Club to provide a full range of facilities that cannot currently be delivered from Cornbury House, home of the Club for more than 20 years.

All members are invited to become involved in the project and as part of the engagement an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) is planned to take place in January to discuss the move. A formal announcement of the EGM will be issued in the coming weeks along with the full agenda.

Members can pose questions directly to the Board via email at bicesterquestions@porscheclubgb.com . The Board aim to respond as soon as possible to questions or within five working days.

Common and relevant questions will be added to the Q&A document at porscheclubgb.com/bicester

Bicester Heritage, based on a former RAF station, is a place dedicated to the passion for motor cars and transport, from the classic to the very modern, along with an eye on future technology.

The developing Bicester Heritage site is set to become a major national destination offering a comprehensive range of facilities with on and off-road driving tracks, indoor and outdoor event spaces which include huge aircraft hangars. The site has catering outlets and ample parking.

Already onsite is Mercedes F1, Motorsport UK, Singer, multiple restoration and classic car sales companies, a brewery and a pub!

Local attractions include Bicester Village, a renowned shopping destination, and Silverstone, which is a 45-minute drive from the site. Overall, Bicester is within a two-hour drive for around 90% of the UK population.
