This month, the Great Debate takes a well-earned sabbatical, making way for a new page in Porsche Post. Talking Heads will provide a space for Club officials to present new ideas to members, to encourage positive debate on a wide variety of issues and to receive feedback on past and future initiatives.
It’s also hoped that it will act as a platform for members to express their opinions on any Club matters that extend beyond the specific remit of a particular Region or Register. Right now, that could be your suggestions or expectations for the coming months, ideas for how to improve an existing element of the membership experience or even things you’d like to see in future issues of Porsche Post.
Equally, you might have a view on a wider issue that affects the Porsche community, such as electrification or the roll-out of E10 fuel. It’s an opportunity to ask big questions, get the ball rolling on various hot Porsche topics or to just get something off your chest.
In short, almost anything goes so long as it’s constructive, even tempered and preferably in the positive spirit that defines our Club. Where appropriate, a member of the PCGB team will respond in the following issue of Porsche Post, but we would also invite you to respond in kind to previous points and questions as the months progress.
To start us off, we’d love to hear from you about your experiences during lockdown. What have you done with your Porsche? How have you engaged with the Club during this time? Is there anything you’ve taken away from the past few months that you would like to share, or anything you’d like to see as we continue to navigate the challenges of COVID-19?
All responses will be shared internally and the most interesting and insightful printed in Porsche Post next month. And please feel free to start your own topics of conversation. That’s what this page is all about.
