After 37 bids in 10 minutes “Project Gold” by Porsche Classic was sold for a total price of €2.743.500. The net proceeds of €2.589.027 from the sale of this very special one-of-a-kind 993 Turbo will go directly to the not-for-profit Ferry Porsche Foundation, which was set up this year to mark the brand’s anniversary.
The foundation – named after the brand’s founder, Ferry Porsche – focuses primarily on the homes of its Stuttgart and Leipzig factories as well as projects projects at the brand’s international sites.
Work on Project Gold was completed this August, with Porsche Classic taking style queues from the latest generation 991 Turbo S Exclusive Series including Golden Metallic body work; black wheels with yellow design accents and with an interior to match.
