Le Mans-winning 919 Hybrid confirmed for Brands Hatch Festival of Porsche.
Brands Hatch welcomes the Festival of Porsche again this September with a special 70th anniversary celebration of Germany’s most iconic sports car manufacturer, featuring racing, demonstrations and a display of PCGB members’ cars.
Organised by MotorSport Vision (MSV) in association with PCGB, the festival returns to the circuit for the first time since 2014. The packed programme on 2 September will be headlined by Porsche Club GB’s very own Club Championship. Here, a wide range of race-prepared cars from various classes will go head-to-head around the famous Indy circuit, including the 986 Boxsters that make up the new Restoracing series.
Significant racing cars from Porsche’s past will be heading to the festival too, including the Le Mans-winning 919 Hybrid, driven on track by LMP1 veteran and honorary Club member Nick Tandy.
Derek Bell, himself a five times winner at la Sarthe, will also be among the special guests, and other attractions will include a huge display of vehicles from Porsche Club GB and a special motorsport-themed area in the paddocks and garages.
