On Saturday, 1st April, Porsche Club held the first of our model-specific technical seminars, focussing on the 996 model type 911. Thanks to a panel of experts, Club members were able to enjoy a day of advice and recommendations on all aspects of 996 ownership.

The seminar was chaired by Peter Morgan, Porsche Inspections, who was joined by Andy Willis, 996 Register Secretary, Steve Winter, Jaz Porsche and Steve Winter, representing Porsche Cars GB.

Discussions ranged from Engines and IMS, suspension, variations in oil type and of course current market values. Examples of almost all 996 variants could be found in the Clubhouse car park, showcasing the diversity of the model.

The event was recorded and we look forward to releasing a series of videos from the day in the near future.

We will be holding another technical seminar on another popular Porsche model later this year, details of which will be announced in Porsche Post.
