Gallery: Porsche Charity Day at Goodwood

Goodwood paddock meeting in aid of local Children’s Hospice.

More than 150 Porsches enjoyed the October sunshine at Goodwood for the fourth, annual charity day raising funds for Chestnut Tree House, a local children’s hospice in West Sussex.

There was a strong Porsche Club GB presence with a fantastic mix of models on display. The ‘car of the show award’ was presented to a 1989 911 Carrera Targa, with a 928 GTS and 981 Boxster Spyder acknowledged as runners up.

Parr motorsport have supported the event for many years and had a team on site to offer technical assistance and showcase some of their current Porsches, including Sean Hudspeth’s 2016 Carrera Cup GB race car.

Organised by Club Carrera UK, the previous three charity days have raised over £18,000 and we look forward to seeing that figure rise once the money raised on Saturday has been counted.

You can still make a donation to the charity here. More images from the event can be viewed here, and are available to purchase via a charity donation.
