Thanks to the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, the development stage of Silverstone Heritage Live is now underway. The project will bring the extensive heritage of Silverstone, The British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) and British motor racing together in a new attraction at the circuit. Interactive exhibitions and displays will be housed in the only remaining World War 2 hangar on site (to the left of the main entrance of the circuit).
The project will open to the public in 2018, marking the 70th Anniversary of the first Grand Prix being held at Silverstone.
