Goodwood Festival of Speed 2015 - First Look

Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the most popular motoring celebrations in the world, so it’s no surprise it’s a firm favourite for Porsche Club GB members.

Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the most popular motoring celebrations in the world, so it’s no surprise it’s a firm favourite for Porsche Club GB members.

If you’re attending the show this weekend be sure to visit the Club on stand 320, near the family area, to see a display of members’ cars alongside a Cayman S kindly on loan from Porsche Bournemouth. There will also be a variety of official Porsche and Porsche Club GB branded merchandise available to buy and most importantly somewhere to rest and meet like-minded Porsche enthusiasts.

Across the weekend Porsche will be celebrating Le Mans victories past and present from their latest remarkable 17th overall victory at this year's 24h of Le Mans to Derek Bell marking 40 years since his first win. Derek's tally of five victories – four of which were with Porsche. Taking to the Goodwood Hill will be examples of some of the many Porsche cars Bell drove in his career, including the 936, 956, and the very 962C in which he took his final win in 1987.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all new PCGB members who joined the club while attending Festival of Speed and invite all our members to share some of their favourite Porsche photos from the show on our Facebook Page.
