Club Officer's Conference and EGM

Workers Confernce, EGM, and DMP training sessions too.......

Prior to the Club’s Extraordinary General Meeting on Saturday, 8th November, a workers’ conference will take place at Cornbury House. Starting at around 10.30am this will, as usual, offer a good opportunity to review the activities of 2014, and to allow the Club actively to plan for the year ahead.

On the digital front, Porsche Club GB’s keenly anticipated digital media platform, or DMP, has entered its final stages of pre-launch testing. On the morning of Sunday, 9th November, Club officials will have the opportunity to participate in a series of training sessions which will be taking place at Cornbury House. Hosted by the team responsible for implementing the new digital platform, these informal sessions are intended for computer users of all abilities, and will offer a gentle introduction into the kind of capability on offer from the new website.

As previously mentioned in Porsche Post, this functionality includes the opportunity for Regions and Registers to update their own respective areas of the website. This will be explained and demonstrated in much greater detail on the Sunday-morning sessions, which are scheduled to get under way at around 10am and conclude at lunchtime. For those officials coming to Saturday’s workers’ conference, and who then plan to attend the digital meeting on the Sunday, an overnight stay will be available at Heythrop Park with the cost covered by the Club.
