As part of the 75th anniversary of Porsche, we have been invited to take part in a parade lap on the Saturday evening of Silverstone Festival, and all Club members with a Saturday car club parking pass for their Porsche are welcome to take part.
There are some important points for you to note:
- All cars taking part must have a valid Saturday parking pass and be parked in the Club infield display area by 9am on Saturday, 26 August.
- The parade lap is due to take place once all racing has finished. Currently, the parade is scheduled to start at 7.10pm, but you will need to be by your Porsche and ready to go from 5.30pm so we can start organising the cars.
- All participants must complete the Signing-on form HERE and return it to the “Clubhouse on the road” at the Stowe Apron on the Saturday. When this form is returned you will be handed a wrist band and a rally plaque.
Indemnity form
As mentioned above, it is mandatory for all drivers and their passengers of track parades at Silverstone Festival to have signed a Signing-on form prior to taking part. To assist in facilitating this procedure, a sign-on sheet can be downloaded using the link below:

These should be completed prior to the event and will need to be handed in at the “Clubhouse on the road” in exchange for a wristband. Wristbands will be checked by marshals prior to accessing the circuit.
Passengers under 18 must have the signed approval of their parent or guardian to participate in a track parade. Passengers in Touring Cars, or Cabriolet/Sports Cars with the hood erected or hardtop fitted, must be 12 years or over and be at least 135cm in height. Passengers in Cabriolet/Sports Cars without the hood erected or hardtop fitted must be aged 16 years or over and be at least 135cm in height.
The number of people in any car must not exceed the number of seats fitted to the car and all passengers must be seated in the seats provided. Where safety belts are fitted these must be used.
Cars will be instructed to move to the relevant assembly point in good time before each parade. Cars must not enter onto the track until instructed to do so by the track marshals. Please do not start lining up until you are instructed to do so by the marshals or Clubhouse volunteers. We have a lot of Porsches to get onto the circuit so please be patient and with your car and ready when called forward.
When on track, cars should take up formation 2-abreast. Cars must not overtake other parade cars or the Course Cars, unless directed to do so by the Course Car driver. Drivers must keep to the speed set by the Course Cars. There must be no holding back then accelerating, no hard acceleration and no hard braking. Such driving standards will not be tolerated by the event organisers.
