Originally intended to be our first anniversary event of 2021, we are now excited to be able to offer members the opportunity to attend a commemorative day at the fantastic Haynes Motor Museum on Saturday, 1 October, starting at 10am until 5.30pm.
Located near Yeovil in Somerset, the museum first opened in 1985 and is now home to over 400 cars and motorcycles along with a vast display of automobilia. For generations, Haynes manuals were synonymous with car ownership and the museum began as a way for John Haynes to share his growing collection of cars with the public.
British F1 driver and sports car racer Mike Wilds will be giving a Q&A talk at 12.30pm in the auditorium inside the museum just before lunch.
Entry tickets cost £25 per person which includes an area reserved for Porsche parking, complimentary tea and coffee and a private room where lunch will be served (sandwich, crips, soft drink and a muffin - included within your ticket price).
