Race Postponed
On Saturday evening (31 October) the Prime Minister announced that significant national restrictions will be introduced from Thursday 5 November, for a period of four weeks, to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
Since the announcement, the government has published detailed guidance on these various measures and Motorsport UK, the governing body for four-wheel racing, has clarified what this means for competitive motorsport.
All non-elite motorsport has been suspended until 2 December and those event permits have been withdrawn by Motorsport UK. The British Truck Racing and British Touring Car Championships are both exempt and their final 2020 rounds will go ahead, behind closed doors without spectators. The final round of British F3 will also proceed as planned.
All affected ticketholders will be entitled to a credit or refund. MSV will email customers within the next few days with information on how to manage their booking online.
