This route takes you almost on a full loop of the region, starting just north of Perth in the village of Meikleour, heading up through Kirremuir, Pitlochry and Aberfeldy and down to the beautiful shores of Loch Tay before finally reaching Scone Palace.
Perthshire is in the very heart of Central Scotland and is located just south of the Cairngorms National Park. Whilst it’s not the most mountainous region of Scotland, it’s certainly one of the prettiest, and you will get a taste of one of the famous Scottish lochs when you reach Kenmore, on the northern tip of Loch Tay.
