911 (997) Carrera 2

£27,995

Description

For sale is my 997.1 that I have owned for 5 years, and the owner before me owned for 10 years. I am only selling it as I have found a later C4S that I have decided to buy.

The car is very clean, the bodywork is immaculate in metallic silver with the original paintwork, it is always stored in a garage, and the previous owner and I have looked after it extremely well. He had it checked when he bought it and found it had bore scoring and had a new engine block and associated parts supplied under warranty by Porsche, I have the invoice for the work.

So the car has the later, stronger IMS bearing and has done only 28k miles in the following 15 years on its new block. In my ownership of less than 10k miles it has been looked after by David Philips in Edinburgh and has had new air-con condensers, new main coolant pipes, new clutch, rear main and intermediate shaft seals replaced, new exhaust and replacement second-hand tailpipes, new high and low pressure air-con pipes, and six new ignition coils, new brake discs, pads and handbrake shoes, only 12 months and 3k miles ago. The service book is stamped up with OPC and independent specialist every two years. Internally the car has black leather upholstery in excellent condition, and I have fitted an AliExpress head unit with CarPlay / Android Auto, and will supply the original head unit so the car can be returned to its original spec if desired. I am open to negotiation on price, the asking price is intended to reflect the excellent condition of the car and the large amount of work done recently to achieve this.

The car comes with a fresh 12 months MOT from early April and has two new rear tyres that were flagged by the MOT.
