Description

After five years of joint ownership with a friend the time has come for us to try something new in the garage. We may well regret this as our rare Ocean Blue Metallic manual 993 C2S has been a real joy to own and run. It has not missed a beat on a long run through Germany, trips to France, driving weekends and Goodwood visits. Maintained and serviced during our ownership by Nine Excellence as our local specialist. Ask for Adam if you’d like to speak to them about the car.

It is a higher mileage car than some so is one to be used and enjoyed as a very mechanically sound and well built example. A previous owner had suspension set up done by leading experts Centre of Gravity and the only after market additions are a Kline stainless steel exhaust and short throw shift kit. This is a car that is happy to be hustled along great A and B roads.

Upon purchase we had some minor body work repairs done by restoration specialists Premier Panel Skills to rectify corrosion around the screen and front wing.

Extensive file of documentation and receipts through the life of the car available to view with the car, which is in East Surrey. It is a great spec with pebble grey leather against the ocean blue metallic, hard backed sports seats, which are awesome, air conditioning which blows really cold and for full 90s effect, a sun roof, which in my view should make a come back.

If we were keeping the car I’d be tempted to upgrade the sound system for those longer road trips, but if you want retros 90s sound you have it, as the radio is terrible to non existent. Or you can just enjoy the increasingly rare sound of an oil cooled varioram pulling strongly through the six speed box.

This was our first 993 and we’ve enjoyed every minute of it.
