Tyre places that support the Club tyre Benefit ?

Hi

I need 4 tyres on a Porsche Cayenne and am looking to try and use the Club/Pirelli ran scheme for discount

Living in Baughurst, the web page lists the nearest options as Merityre and then only lists Purley (Reading) and Hook locations and not Basingstoke

Before I organise getting the tyres done at Hook, has any one successfully used the scheme and also used the Basingstoke Merityre place ?

Many thanks

Best G

I've used it several times. You have to use a Pirelli Performance Centre (PPC) or an OPC. The Pirelli web site is absolutely crap at finding the nearest centre, usually (wherever I have lived) saying "no results were found". I think they must only search about 100 metres away from your selected location! Although there are various multi-branch tyre dealers around the country, if one of the branches is a PPC, it is quite normal that some or all of the branches under the same ownership are not. So to get the PCGB benefit, you have to use the branch that is a PPC. In my case, there is a multi-branch dealer with a branch in Matlock, but that's not a PPC - I have to go to Ashbourne which is more distant, but is a PPC.

Cheers Brian

Further looking on the Merityre website actually ends up listing their branches that do have PPC and Basingstoke is not listed, so a trip to Fleet is on the cards :)

To qualify for the discount the tyres have to be supplied and fitted by a Pirelli Performance Centre or alternatively by a Porsche dealer, so you may want to give your local dealer a call to see if they can offer you a competitive price.

Save yourself a bit of cash and get a few more miles out of your tyres and go for something different.

I've just gone for Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 N0 tyres on each corner (Macan S 3.0)

Very happy with them at the moment.
Handling is very good, noise is exceptionally good.

Try Blackcircles eBay shop at the end of the month when eBay have payday special codes on - I saved 20%
