Pothole - Potluck Kwikfit fitter

Having hit a huge pothole on the way back from Chipping at the weekend(pothole miraculously now repaired) I now require 2 new tyres on front and the rear. Given current wear and matching pair axle rules I've seen a great offer on Michelens but from Kwikfit......question is do I trust them with my mint turbo twists? I've never used them before. Any members have any experience with them round the north west east Lancashire region?

I'd be more worried about them jacking up the car to get them off than actually changing the tyres. Wheels can be repaired. A bent floor less so.

I use DP Tyres in Ashton in Makerfield. They have a 'no touch' wheel machine and they boys in there are happy for you to watch. Not a tyre iron in sight.

Thanks for the replies chaps. I'd definitely be taking them off myself and driving them down there.
Being slightly OCD about these things I could just tell them to be careful, and to colour match the balancing weights, and to keep them in a neat row. 😀 I'll see if there's any 'no touch' near me and see if camskill can get close on price.

It’s always down to the actual staff, not the brand/business. I tend to have a chat with whoever is in charge and then you get a more experienced person taking time and effort. Everyone has to learn but obviously you don’t want the new person testing out their approach on your wheels.
