Porsche 992 Turbo S

Lancerlot - Silverline puncture kit

I'm need to finalise my spec on a new 992 C2S in the next few days. Just to be clear are you saying that the Silverline kit is better than the Porsche option of tyre sealing compound?

If so I'd appreciate your reasons why. Have you used the tyre compound? i've heard that it can be very messy.

Thanks.

I think you should order the sealer kit for belt and braces, since it includes a fitted Porsche 12v air compressor. The tyre mousse is messy, unreliable and tyre fitters hate it. The Sealey kit is better for tread punctures - it works in exactly the same way as a bicycle repair outfit - but has more grunt. Buy a tube of superglue too in case you slice a tyre wall. This has proved a successful repair on more than occasion. [;)]

Lancerlot, thanks for the quick reply. Configurator changed for the umpteenth time (!!) to include the sealer kit.

I'll get the Sealey kit too.
