I saw a nice selection of Porsches at the Kylesku Bridge on the North West Coast of Scotland on Saturday 24/08/19 while I was taking part in a epic cycling challenge to complete the NC500 in 3 days, it was great to see and hear some of Stuttgart‘s finest and a nice distraction from thinking about my aching legs

I was wondering if they were members of PCGB?

Yes, I was there! (just joined the R2 club) Cannonbawz charity run for the Scottish Air Ambulance Service and Marfan Association.

50 Cars, inc a three or four of Porsches and a host of V8 mustangs. Hope we didn't make too much noise. Here's a pic from it. You are probably in it! Ours was the white 911 convertible if you can make it out.

Nice one, some stunning roads and scenery there, unfortunately didn't see this group, I saw about 4 or 5 Porsches leaving the Kylesku Bridge car park heading East when we cycled past, l remember seeing a red Cayman gt4 in the group, was he with you? Did you all travel down the A9 with a the Mustangs on the Sunday?

No different group, but I mixed up the day! We were there Sunday, having stayed the night in Ullapool. Headed north towards Scourie, then over the top and back down the A9 late Sunday afternoon. Most went off toward Aberdeen. Surprised you didn't come across at some point. There were a lot of cyclists that weekend. Well done in doing it in three days. That is truly awesome! My wife and I just did the "pedal for scotland" Glasgow - Edinburgh cycle on Sunday there. 8,000+ bikes. 45 miles. Cannot image doing over 10x that.

Ah ok, We did see you! You all pass us on A9 on the Sunday afternoon probably around the Tain area, I enjoyed all the different exhaust notes as you passed.

We had cycled from Bettyhill 50 miles east of John o Groats then back down to Muir of Ord via Inverness (185 miles) tough shift but weather was beautiful. There were 2 of us in black and yellow kit with a brown Land Rover accompanying us and probably holding You all up lol. Hopefully next time I do the NC 500 it will be in my Cayman ;-)

btw well done on your 'Pedal for Scotland'

Ha Ha - so youuur the guys! Seriously, I don't think any cyclists held us up for long at all. Most were very considerate! Its a shame I ran out of gopro memory around the betteyhill area or else i would have had some footage of you all. I had the white 911 convertible with D4LEK plate and a big fat "42" on it. Hope I gave you room! :)

Yes definitely remember seeing you in between chewing on my handlebars ;-) and tbh everyone in your group gave plenty room with no kamikaze overtakes or manoeuvres.
